Yep, we are spearheding the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) before the Florida legislature which has the power to ratify the ERA sent out by Congress in 1972. ERA barely missed passing by 3 states' ratifications but we have now lit a new fire under it. Go scope out our site, www.RatifyERAflorida.net (though we are really a national site now). Find out Who We Are, Why Every American needs the ERA, What Special Interests are lying about now, What it means to males as well as females, to the economy, to sexual harmony (!), to moms, to members of religions, to those who are wary, and En Espanol.
ReplyDeleteHere's what that Amendment to the US Constitution says: "Equality under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex [ie., gender]."
ERA purely reflects the fundamentsl, moral American values of equality for all regardless of gender. No strings attached, no intrigue that Special Interests will downright lie about.
We are for YOU, for reducing the adversarial relationships between the sexes, for a peaceful and productive America. That's it.
And we WILL do this whether in a wheelchair and on oxygen! Every nation since WWII has an ERA. Nearly 3/4 of the states have already vetted and voted for it...what could Florida and the other southeastern and a few rocky western states find wrong with equality for all?
We're doing it for YOU, for your children, theirs, theirs, and theirs...for FREE. Yep, we're all unpaid and doing this 18/7 work because it's the right thing to do for America. Hope you think so too. Let us know at RatifyERA@cs.com.
