JUST WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR--source material even beyond the UN, the EU, to support the thesis that women's equality with men will drive the nation's GDP Upppp! So, equality is not only good for the economy but it's GREAT for it! WHEN we are treated equally with men, WOMEN WILL BE THE DRIVING FORCE TOWARD THE NATION'S RECOVERY!
So, we plan to ask our legislators at the various county Legislative Delegation Hearings that we speak before every fall, "Just what IS it that you hate about the Equal Rights Amendment!" We will cite statistics from the Scandinavian countries which take women's issues as a challenge to their nations! That's because they KNOW, that our work is a prime mover of the economy that's in sad shape right now!
Florida's legislators will have a hard time against the ERA with THIS argument.
